Joanne Duklas was honoured to present at the fall JAM conference held by the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCT) on her recent peer reviewed study and report on Microcredentials. The webinar features Joanne sharing an overview of the findings and formal report and fielding questions from experts from across Canada. This study examined the current state and possibilities for micro-credentials at Canadian post-secondary colleges and universities for admissions and transfer. The study provides a summation of microcredential definitions, a national and international environmental scan, and a suggested checklist of considerations for institutions that wish to create micro-credentials that consider the potential for admission and transfer.
