The DCC Inc. team is pleased to announce the new GDN T.R.U.S.T. Hub, a one-stop compendium of though leader organizations and trusted credential depositories around the world. Official, digitized academic documents come into colleges, universities, government offices, regulatory bodies and employers from many of these credential depositories. It is difficult to identify which are trusted. This tool is proving to be a key resource for credential evaluators. It has been created by and for the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN), a federally incorporated trust in the Netherlands that is dedicated to support global citizens with ethically informed, permission-based data exchange.
The DCC Inc. team was proud to lend expertise to helping the GDN vision, design, and launch the new T.R.U.S.T. hub. Members involved in this work include Joanne Duklas who provided guidance and leadership through the entire process, Maya Hardy who led the design of the website, Sybil Massey who designed the logo, and Steven Moore who handled the data clean up. Joanne as a volunteer to the GDN chaired the GDN working committee that advanced this effort. The working group included Maya Hardy, Duklas Cornerstone Consulting Inc.; Herman de Leeuw, executive director, GDN; Melanie Gottlieb, interim executive director, AACRAO and GDN Board director; Jelger de Boer, GDN Board director; Ton van der Marck, support for the GDN; and Tessa Mouha, project manager, AHOVOKS, Agency for Higher Education, Adult Education, Qualifications and Student Grant. Ton served as the designer of the underlying database and GDN website.
